We are excited to announce our Fly-Tying Pint Night! If any of you ladies have been wanting to learn how to tie your own flies for fly fishing, or could use some advice from some experienced guides, join us for a fun night and learn with us! The event will be held at Storm Peak Brewing on May 15th from 6 to 8pm. Not only will we be having a great time learning to tie flies together, but we will also be doing it for a cause. All of the flies that we tie that evening will be donated to the Colorado Chapter of Project Healing Waters. They are a non-profit organization that focuses on the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military personnel and wounded veterans through fly fishing. Folks from some of our local gear shops including Steamboat Flyfisher, Yampa Valley Anglers, and Straightline Sports have been gracious enough to lend us their expertise, vice grips and tools, and different materials to use for tying. There will also be several giveaway items at the event! Cant wait to kick off this spring fishing season with you ladies over a couple of beers and some fly tying!
