Ladies! Get ready for our first outing event! Stagecoach State Park has graciously reserved 20 Ice fishing poles for us to use for a day on the ice together. Whether your a pro ice fisher, or have always wanted to go, come join us for a fun day together! If you have any of your own gear, feel free to bring it along. The staff at Stagecoach State Park just asks for us to help provide bait for the day. If you have no idea what kind of bait to bring, don’t fret! I’ll be purchasing some meal worms and jigs for us with some of the money we raised at our meet & greet. We are always accepting of any monetary donations to help support our efforts and future events we would like to host for you.

If you do not already have a parks pass for your car, please note that you will have to purchase a day pass at the office, as well as a fishing license if you don’t have one already. Since the new year for fishing licenses begin on April 1st, this is a perfect opportunity for you to renew you license for the 2019 season anyway! This is absolutely a kid-friendly event, if your little ones are up for it! Nothing more inspiring for the future of fishing and hunting than going out with their mamas! Dogs are also welcome, but please remember that dogs are required to be leashed at the State Park, even on the ice.

Also note that this is a tentative plan. For it being fairly late in the season, there’s a slight chance there may not be enough ice on the lake to go out safely. I will be in touch with the park staff about ice reports the week of the event. In the case that there isn’t enough ice, we’ll just turn it into a regular fishing day! I will keep you ladies updated with any changes that may occur.
